Baby Ayaan’s Newborn Session

The newborn stage is so fleeting, and sometimes it can be hard to schedule a newborn session when life is busy. I am so glad this little guy’s mom scheduled his newborn session even though they were in the middle of moving and remodeling a house! Baby Ayaan was older than most of the newborns I photograph at almost 4 weeks old, but we made it work and his newborn session was a success. ♥

It’s a tradition for Indian babies to wear a black bracelet made of thread or beads to ward off evil spirits. Ayaan’s bracelet was a gift from his grandmother.

This handsome baby boy took a little convincing when it came to sleeping for his newborn portraits!  We were able to get some really sweet swaddled shots though!

And he made the cutest little “cub” too. ♥

I’m glad we were able to get some awake shots and this one cracks me up! It looks like he’s ready to conquer the world! And just look at those big brown eyes. ♥

Ayaan’s family brought their furbaby along for their newborn session and the photos of these two together turned out so sweet! My favorites were captured while we were still getting baby settled.

  • Jennifer RittenberryBaby Ayaan has such a gorgeous newborn portraits gallery! I love the variety you were able to get with him in the cute newborn props and even with his little dog, too!  I know this Carrollton family will treasure all of the memories you have captured for them in your Georgia studio.ReplyCancel

  • Allison AndersonSuch a sweet little baby boy! A month old is tough but you did a wonderful job. I’ve seen the black string on Indian newborn babies — but didn’t actually know what it was for.  ReplyCancel
