Hi! I’m Corey.

Thank you for stopping by! I’m Corey, the owner/photographer of Simply Corey Photography, and I am located just west of Atlanta, GA. I specialize in everything family and motherhood: maternity, newborns, baby’s first year, children, high school seniors, and families.

I have been a professional photographer for almost 20 years, but my passion for taking pictures started long before then! I was the little girl with a 110 film camera, taking pictures of my cat, my dolls, and anything that interested me – and my love for photography has only grown since I picked up that first little pink camera!

I officially started my photography business at the end of 2004, and I have had the privilege of photographing numerous mamas, babies, kids, teens, couples, and families throughout the metro Atlanta area since then. It has been an honor, as well as an amazing experience, to capture memories and milestones for so many. Thank you to all of you who continue to trust me with your memories over the years!

a little more about me

I am a mom to five – four are grown and out of the house and I homeschool my youngest.
I have completed three whole 365 projects (a photo a day), and you can see two of them on the blog: 2017 and 2018.
I love living in the country with my three boxers and small flock of chickens.
People hear my laugh before spotting me when I’m out. I love to laugh.
The little things have always been what matters most to me.

I started my business at the end of 2004 and have been a professional photographer for almost 20 years.
I have always been very eclectic and love trying new things. This is why I never wanted to specialize in just one genre of photography.
As far as editing, l love color and have always preferred a more true-to-life editing style. With that said, I also love a good black and white portrait!
No matter if I’m taking portraits outside or in the studio, I love capturing natural emotions in my subjects! I will always do my best to make you feel comfortable and avoid stiff poses.
