The H Family

Now that the holidays are behind us, that means my busy season is over too and I have a little more time to blog! I am looking forward to sharing all of the beautiful families, high school seniors, and weddings I have photographed in the last few months!

I have photographed this wonderful family for many years now. They started coming to my Douglasville home studio when their son was only a few months old.  The past few years they have opted for on location portrait sessions at their home. I have loved capturing all of them in their own environment, watching the children grow in the same setting year after year.

The kids have been learning how to play the piano for a while now, so those shots are always important to Mom and Dad. And I enjoy hearing how they have progressed at our yearly portrait sessions! Big brother also picked up the guitar this year and has some really interesting pets in his bedroom. Their little girl is only allowed to jump on her bed when I come over (I am so glad they make an exception just for me!) and I joked with them that I expect her to jump on her bed for her portraits when she’s 16! She also had the chance to dress up like Elsa for a few fun photos at the end of our session!

Enjoy seeing this beautiful family through my lens. ♥

  • lauraCorey, I am in love with lifestyle photography. You captured their musical skills so well and I love the photos of the kids in their rooms with their favorite things around them. The little girl dressed up is precious. They will treasure these photos and it is more dear to them to have the location be their home. Their history in the making. They can look back and see where they lived and tell a lot about the different stages of each age. I love it. ~ LauraReplyCancel
